So it's been a while since my last posting. No Internet at home means I have to post when I can.
Since the last post, the babies have had their first birthday and it was a HUGE day! Pics from Rey of light photography and tons of presents.

If I had thought of it sooner, I would have included a note with the invite that stated you didn't have to bring a present for each of them. That no present was required at all, but if you planned on bringing presents, it's pretty expensive to purchase three at one time, so you may bring one present for all of them to share - or something like that anyway. It was very nice of everyone that came and presented the babies each with their own presents. Thank everyone who came to the party to celebrate a wonderful day.
My very good friend Sheila made the birthday cake..... yum!
The other kids at the party had a blast with the candy on the cake.
The little personalities are really coming out and the predictions made my the NICU nurses are certainly coming true. Ashlynn is truly a Diva with her screaming presence - earplugs please. Hunter is so active, he is hard to keep up with and a crib tent has been required now for several months. Kristner is a handful and keeps you on your toes. Laid back most of the time, he can get into just as much, if not more, trouble than Hunter.

The boys are so adventurous and brave while Ashlynn has a very commanding presence. She wants to do everything they do, even if she can't and better watch her try even if the boys just got in trouble for it.
Disciplining is the hardest. They are old enough to know what "no" means and they do know what it means, but they are also very headstrong and determined to do it anyway, and several attempts, regardless of yelling or spankings or hand-swatting or taking them away from it. I just don't know what to do sometimes.
Going out in public is always a treat. It gets old how many times we are asked if they are triplets, twins or which one is the mom? We try to be patient but sometimes it gets old. Ashlynn is the only one, so far, that has developed the "where's my mommies?" reaction when she doesn't see one of us when strangers are surrounding them.
"Teething" is our latest headache with all of the babies having different pain tolerance levels. You always know when Hunter is cutting a new tooth but Ashlynn holds her pain pretty well with only some thumb sucking to ease her suffering with Kristner always in the middle of the scale, just like with everything else.
Overall, we have wonderful babies and couldn't be happier.
